The Calbrandt High Dog indexer attaches to the top side of the railcar's bogie frame and completes its cycle of motion then detaches while the progressor maintains continuous movement through the use of two attachment points.

The Body Pin indexer extends into the hook hole of the railcar and completes its cycle of motion then retracts. Configuration of Coupler Arm type; Indexer The indexer inserts between the railcar knuckles and completes its cycle of motion then retracts. It’s stroke can be 1 car length, or multiple car lengths.

Ratcheting Indexer Pushes in increments of approx. 15 feet per cylinder stroke on one side of the railcar. The cylinder is pushing (3) carriages. Progressor Alternates pushing from one side to the other, providing continuous movement. Each cylinder pushes (2) low dog carriages. Indexer/Progressor Is both an Indexer and a Progressor. When forces are less than 30K, it’s a Progressor. When forces are greater than 30K, it’s an Indexer-pushing on both sides at the same time and it can push up to 60K. Each cylinder pushes (3) carriages. Allowable Forces: One side of empty car is limited to 7.5K pounds Both sides of empty car is limited to 15K pounds Pushing on one side of loaded car, limited to 30K pounds Pushing on both sides of loaded car, limited to 60K pounds Speeds 0-60 FPM. Typical speed is 25-30 FPM Application Notes: Can be mounted on rail ties or a concrete foundation. Can be used for Loading or Unloading applications.

The Cantilever railcar mover is ideal for applications up to 45,000 lbs. force, that feature bi-directional movement, presence of scales have wider pits, and the option for on-board operation.
