 Press Releases

  • The BinCloud® platform is an integrated cloud foundation for data monitoring of inventory contained in bins, tanks, and silos. It enables on-site and remote workers to work via the cloud. BinCloud® is the backbone of the BinView® web application used to monitor solids, powders, and liquids across all process industries. The platform is also the basis for FeedView® used by swine and poultry growers to manage feed and place orders with feed mills.

BinCloud® allows workers to securely access inventory data stored in the cloud. The system hosted by BinMaster is turnkey. Data is accessed by users from a phone, tablet, or PC via the internet. It decreases dependency on local IT resources and eliminates the need for storing data and managing servers. The BinView® and FeedView® programs hosted on BinCloud® are updated and maintained by BinMaster. Use of the programs can be scaled up and down in size as needed.

Features of the two programs include real-time monitoring, automated alerts via text or email, and historical reporting. They can be used at a single site or across multiple locations and accommodate hundreds of vessels.

FeedView® is a complete feed management solution that uses wireless, battery-powered level sensors and software designed specifically for livestock growers. The system automatically measures bin levels, projects consumption, and alerts before feed runs out. It helps growers manage rations, eliminate feed outages, late delivery charges, and ensures there is less feed leftover at closeout to reduce vacuuming and disposal charges.

BinView® is compatible with non-contact radar, SmartBob, 3DLevelScanners, guided wave radar, ultrasonic, or laser level sensors with a 4-20 mA, Modbus, or HART output. It is suitable for any processing operation including plastics manufacturers, concrete and cement batch plants, feed mills, grain elevators, fertilizer and chemical plants, and biofuel production.

Demonstrations and pricing are available by calling 800-478-4241 or emailing info@binmaster.com.

  • With BinMaster, there are countless ways to tailor 80 GHz radar to your operation.

Select from three different types of housings. Although the metal-jacketed is the most popular, a compact 1-1/2” NPT housing may be an easier option to install on an existing fitting and is perfectly suited to bins up to 98 feet tall. A durable plastic housing is a less expensive housing alternative and can be an ideal solution for bins with structure when used with a swivel mount that can be precisely aimed. There are aluminum and stainless steel housing materials available for food, chemical, or pharmaceutical operations.

BinMaster offers diverse mounting options, including a custom carbon steel ball-and -socket mount for aiming flexibility. If you have an angled roof, you don’t need to make your own flange. BinMaster offers 4” ANSI mounting flanges in 0, 10, 15, 30 and 45 degree angles. For flat roofs, a wide variety of mounting flanges in a variety of sizes allow you to order the right mount at the time you order the sensor. Mounting straps are used for aiming the plastic-housed NCR-80 over a conveyor, pile, or in a bin.

Output choices make radar easier to install and compatible with your current system or PLC. Select from two-wire or four-wire and 4-20 mA or Modbus® outputs. Plus, you can get the approvals you need whether for ordinary environments, or choose from a variety FM or CSA approvals.

As division of custom manufacturer, Garner Industries, BinMaster is able to offer more options to ensure your sensor solution is perfectly suited to your operation. Combine 80 GHz sensors with wireless communications, gateways, and software solutions for turnkey inventory management solutions. See a complete listing of configuration choices at www.binmaster.com.

  • BinMaster’s new line of compact non-contact radar – aka CNCR – level sensors puts 80 GHz of precision to work measuring simple and aggressive liquids. Small in stature, but big on features these sensors set up simply using Bluetooth and the Wireless Device Configurator app loaded on a smartphone or tablet. The app can also be used to diagnose and change display parameters once the sensor is installed from up to 80 feet away.

The sensors have zero dead zone, measuring up to the sensor face, making them very accurate and ideal for smaller vessels and simple applications. The CNCR’s 80 GHz technology measures through plastic vessel walls or lids, allowing it to be mounted unobtrusively and easily without cutting a hole in the vessel. CNCR sensors measure reliably through foam, vapor, and steam. The CNCR is not affected by fluctuations in temperature or condensation. The sensor enclosures are molded of PVDF plastic and feature FKM seal materials for exceptional mechanical strength and chemical resistance.

These devices are offered with 2-wire 4-20 mA and 4-wire Modbus outputs. The CNCR sends measurement data to an HMI or PLC or to the BinView® web application or Binventory® software for viewing on a phone, tablet, or PLC. Level data can also be output to a digital panel meter or control console for local walk or drive up access.

The narrow beam angle is easily aimed to avoid obstructions or structure in the vessel that could interfere with performance. Mounting is simple using one of four galvanized steel mounting brackets or one of four mounting plates offered in 0, 5, 10, and 30-degree angles. Alternatively, BinMaster’s swivel mount allows precise aiming with adjustability up to 40 degrees to perfectly point the sensor at the desired measurement location.

The CNCR-100 series wires quickly using a simple pigtail connection. There are four CNCR-100 models offered in measuring ranges from 26 to 98 feet for general use or with optional hazardous location approvals. Enclosures are weather-resistant for dust and water ingress and have IP66/IP68 ratings. The CNCR-200 series features three models that measure from 26 or 49 feet, with an optional LED display and push button controls. Great for basic liquid level applications in unclassified areas, the CNCR-200 sensors have IP66/IP67 NEMA Type 4X enclosure approvals and are often used to measure liquid levels through plastic tank walls or the lid of an IBC.

  • Get inventory data instantly at the push of a button. The C-100 console mounts at a convenient location in the plant or a loadout. Employees simply walk or drive up to the C-100 and review level data from level sensors from one to 128 silos from a single console. The rugged NEMA 4X enclosure can be mounted indoors or outside. The local display eliminates the need to visit a control room or PLC and complements BinView or Binventory inventory management software.

The C-100 offers measurements displayed as feet or cubic feet, US gallons or bushels, and tons, metric tons, or kilograms. Measurements can be output as height of material or distance to product (headroom). Configuration uses intuitive push-button controls in English or Spanish. User settings are stored in a non-volatile memory to protect against data loss in the event of power failure. All models feature a 24 VDC power supply and a NEMA 4X enclosure rating for resistance to dust and rain.

The C-100-SB model is used with SmartBob level sensors, the C-100-MB is for use with SmartBob sensors requiring a Modbus output, and the C-100-R is compatible with NCR non-contact radar, and GWR guided wave radar, and SmartSonic ultrasonic level sensors.

  • Fail-Safe Rotary Level Indicator
The MAXIMA+ is BinMaster’s most advanced rotary level indicator featuring a complete fail-safe system that alerts to the loss of power, failure of the motor, or failure of the electronics....

  • BinMaster’s most advanced rotary level indicator features a complete fail-safe system that alerts to the loss of power, failure of the motor, or failure of the electronics – allowing it to be used for process control. Appropriate for a wide variety of bulk solids including powders, pellets, or granular materials, the MAXIMA+ alerts the user to bin status via an audible horn or light wired to the unit. Notification occurs when the paddle stops rotating and is in a covered condition; it alerts again when the paddle begins to rotate as the bin is emptied and the paddle is uncovered. The MAXIMA+ can be mounted on either the side of the bin or at the top of a bin using a shaft extension. To prolong motor life and to optimize energy costs, the motor of the MAXIMA+ will “de-energize” once the shaft stops turning when material comes into contact with the paddle. BinMaster offers a variety of stainless steel and polyethylene paddles in single and three-vane designs to accommodate a wide range of industries and applications.
