Our Mission

The mission of the IGP Institute is to offer innovative technical programs to enhance the market preference, consumption and utilization of U.S. cereal grains, oilseeds and their value-added products for the global grain industry. To meet this mission, course offerings are led by KSU faculty and industry professionals in the areas of flour milling and grain processing, grain marketing and risk management, and feed manufacturing and grain management. Along with on-campus trainings, our faculty lead customized on-location workshops as well as distance education courses.

Our Global Impact

Globally speaking, in 2014, IGP conducted 62 courses for 1,687 participants from 45 countries.  With the rapidly growing area of distance education and our curriculum expansion, we expect those numbers to increase in 2015.
