The IGP Institute at Kansas State University is partnering with GEAPS to host the GEAPS/K-State Hands-On Training for the Operation and Maintenance of Conveying Equipment Course, May 5–7, 2026, at the IGP Institute in Manhattan.
This three-day, hands-on course is designed for grain elevator operations personnel, engineers, project managers, maintenance staff, millwrights, safety personnel, and other professionals involved in facility operations. Participants receive instructor-led demonstrations and practical exercises on the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of conveying equipment.
Led by 5 seasoned industry professionals, the course covers troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, operational reliability, workplace safety, and the impact of equipment use on grain quality. Upon completion, participants will be able to install, operate, inspect, and maintain conveying equipment, troubleshoot common issues, and apply best practices for safety and performance.
Early registration is $1,800 for GEAPS members and $2,000 for nonmembers.
