New STRATUM Digital Platform To Be Featured at GEAPS Exchange 2020
New Technology to Help Farmers Improve Grain Marketing and Profitability
Booth # 2538
Omaha, Neb. — Farmers across the U.S. will be able to market their grain more efficiently and profitably with STRATUM, a new, first-of-its-kind digital platform that will be featured by GrainBridge at tGEAPS Exchange 2020 Mar. 21-24 in Minneapolis, Minn.
Currently, farmers must rely on multiple applications and data points to track inputs, production, and their marketing activities. Until now, there has been no single tool for efficiently storing and managing all this information. Scheduled for introduction later this year, STRATUM will enable farmers to conveniently consolidate information on production economics and grain marketing activities into a single digital platform, at no cost to them.
With STRATUM, farmers can retrieve their respective agribusiness accounts so they can obtain location information, prices, grain contracts, and payment information, as well as enter into and manage grain contracts. The system currently includes more than 400 grain-buying locations, and more are being added. Interview Opportunities
Faith Larson, GrainBridge chief strategy officer and a former international grain trader, will be available during GEAPS Exchange 2020 for interviews about STRATUM. She can also discuss important steps farmers should take now to develop a well-thought out grain marketing plan for 2020, including identifying and managing input costs; knowing what target yields and commodity cash prices will be needed to meet break-even and profitability goals, and making a mental checklist of other information and documentation that will needed to support the marketing decision-making process.
Media are invited to visit GrainBridge in Booth # 2538 throughout the show to discuss these and any other areas of interest relating to grain marketing.
